This showed me that viewers would like to see a serious and emotionally impactful short film. This was the result I wanted because I want a challenge as I have only made silly, fun and adventurous content. I think I am going to go with an unhappy ending because this allows me to explore my skills in storytelling and create a more emotionally piece of work. I am going to use inspiration from emotionally and mentally impactful movies like The Joker, Chronicle and Code 8. This was the perfect response as I wanted to create something for the age range I had answers from, which was 16-18 year olds (My target audience). The majority of people like Avengers: endgame which means I will be adding a light Avengers type theme in some parts of my short. Most responders prefer silly origin stories so I am going to keep a comic-book themed start-up but then integrate a serious vibe. Due to the results that have been given by responders about the superpowers they'd like to see I am going to be adding the most popular choice which is super strength.

In conclusion, I got a very good insight into what it is my target audience wants to see and how I am going to achieve my goal whilst keeping their interests in mind. I am happy with this result and I can't wait to get into production.

Comic book research:

Here I will be looking at one superhero for each power I desire to include in my FMP within comic books.

Electricity

Thor

This is a screenshot from a Thor comic book showing his electric abilities smashing the floor and causing an electric shock wave.

This is kind of like an electro-magnetic pulse (EMP).

I will be adding this into my final major project for sure but without the hammer.

In conclusion, this comic book was very useful for my FMP as I know what it is I have to add into the effect myself.

For example, Rocks flying up from the impact and the branches from the lightning.
